9:48: The Hensleys are about to give the ATWT tribute I think.

9:47: Lee: DREW TYLER BELL WINS BEST YOUNGER ACTOR!!!! OH. EM. GEE. FOOT IN MOUTH.

9:45: Lee: This is like a Las Vegas infomercial. Congrats to The Doctors (not the soap...)

9:43: Lee: ...Blue Man Group. I'm failing to see the Daytime connection...

9:36: Lee: Okay, so Julie and Billy deserve the awards, despite my preferences.

9:34: Outstanding game show... CASH CAB!

9:33: Lauren: BILLY MILLER!
WHOOHOO! I got 1

9:32: Supporting Actor... BILLY MILLER!!!

9:31: Lee: I get that you need an interesting show but cut the production numbers and announce the awards!

9:25: We're off to an interesting start. Lauren: Wow that was a shocker for Julie Pinson to win, I thought she should have won for Port Charles, but happy for her, and that was a long tribute to Dick Clark, loved Susan getting her boogie on!


It's the biggest night of the year for soaps! Lauren and I will be updating this post throughout the night as we watch all the shenanigans unfold, so keep checking back to hear our latest opinions!

I know this is a soap opera dedicated blog, but I can't help but to plug one of my favorite nighttime "soapy" dramedy Weeds. This season looks deliciously, soapy. Weeds returns this August, only on Showtime. Trust me, it's worth DVRing right next to ATWT or DOOL. ~Lauren
